Blog #2

As a student I used MS word in several different ways. Majority of the time when I use MS word is typically to write some type of assignment. Most recently as with the rest the rest of the class I used MS word to create a newsletter. Something I never did before. It was a little frustrating at times, but I managed. The other times I have used MS word is when I had to create my resume and cover letter for both my personal and academic use. I have seen my teachers use MS Word is when they are presenting of the assignment that we were going the create in the near future. My experience with copyright and fair use has been a journey. More often then not my experience with copyright and fair used has been when finding sources and having to create a works cited page. I would tell them all the laws associated with the concept. Blog #0 Greetings! My name is Devin Young and I am a fourth year graduating senior majoring in Editing, Writing, and Media with minor in Education. I aspire one day to become a principal of a Title 1 public school. I have a passion advocating for students of color and being a positive representation each and every one of them inside and outside of the classroom. I also aspire to one day get the opportunity to teach abroad hopefully China or Japan.  Majority of my prior experience with using technology in the classroom has to be the use of SmartBoards and laptops. I have also used iclickers while in college to answer questions and get attendance points. The use of social media, Twitter, has been used in a couple of my English classes to get the class more involved with participating and communicating with each other. Kahoot is another website/technology that I have used in previous courses to help with review either for tests, midterms, and finals.  First and for...
