LAFS.910.WHST.3.8 Gather relevant information from multiple authoritative print and digital sources, using advanced searches effectively; assess the usefulness of each source in answering the research question; integrate information into the text selectively to maintain the flow of ideas, avoiding plagiarism and following a standard format for citation.
-I feel most prepared with the standard above because I basically been doing this since my very first semester of college. Majority of the courses that I have taken over the years required me to find effective sources for assignments. Per the practice over the years, I will be able to provide different credible source search engines. I also feel as though this is the most important part when writing any type of papers.

LAFS.910.SL.2.5 Make strategic use of digital media (e.g., textual, graphical, audio, visual, and interactive elements) in presentations to enhance understanding of findings, reasoning, and evidence and to add interest.
 - Although this standard may seem pretty easy, it takes me a little minute to be able to fluidly maneuver through a new type of technology. I often get very frustrated when learning new technology because it may seem like I'm doing it right, then I press something and something else messes up. With that being said, finding new ways may be a struggle because I might find myself sticking to my old ways. I know I need to change and become open minded. Thanks to this course it going to happen sooner than later. A resource that I would used correlates with the ELA Standard I will be most comfortable teaching my class. The resource is a Prezi Presentation on the MLA Format and Documentation. Basically its help teaches all the rules associated with the MLA format, which is critically in an English classroom as well as other subjects. After the Prezi I will do several practice rounds to that I know the material taught stuck with them.

Whew! This newsletter assignment was a battle. As I said before I often get frustrated when doing new things with technology. One of the new skills that I stuck with me is how to create a border. Yes I know, one of the more simpler things but this was my first time actually incorporating one in my assignment. I really dislike the creating the columns on my newsletter because every time I would try fix it, it would fall out of place and messed everything up. I may be seriously overthinking it but it was a battle for me. Next time I can be more patient and put more time into it. I don't think I would be creating newsletter for my class because I feel like they are a waste of paper. Students may get one full look at the letter, but after that it's just another sheet of paper or it ends up on the floor.
